Dayton letter carrier honored nationally for his bravery
WASHINGTON D.C. (WKEF/WRGT) – A Dayton letter carrier was honored nationally Tuesday for his bravery.
The National Association of Letter Carriers awarded Donte Cotton the ‘Central Hero Award’ in Washington D.C.
Cotton crawled through broken glass to help get a baby girl out of a car after a crash. That car had flipped on his top, and he was able to get her out.
Other heroes were honored for saving a young boy from a house fire, counseled a fellow veteran suffering from PTRD and donated bone marrow to save the life of a stranger.
