Man arrested after double shooting kills Dayton woman
DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - A Dayton man's being held on charges of murder and felonious assault after a double shooting overnight Thursday.
Police were called to Norman Avenue just after 1 a.m. A woman called 911 asking for help, "I just heard the shot and he shot his brother in the kitchen and then his girlfriend went in there and then I heard another shot."
When officer got to the home they found a woman dead at the scene. The Montgomery County Coroner's Office has identified the victim as Barbara Goubeaux, 41, of Dayton. The coroner's office says Goubeaux lived at the home on Norman Avenue, an autopsy is currently pending. The other victim is a male in his 40s who has not yet been identified. At last check, the man was listed in critical condition.
Police have since arrested Willie Henry Jr., 43, he's currently being held in the Montgomery County Jail.
