UPDATE: Duhamel was taken into custody by Middletown Police, and is being held at the Middletown Jail.

FRANKLIN TWP, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) – The Warren County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help finding a subject at the center of a Franklin Township standoff overnight Thursday.

Deputies responded to the home on Mentz Road around 9 p.m. Wednesday on reports of a vehicle theft. They were told by people living inside the residence that Ebb Duhamel was inside the home and threatening other people with a gun.

Several attempts were made to get him to surrender, but when he didn’t, the Warren County Tactical Response Team was called to the scene. They went into the residence when he still didn’t contact crews, but found that he was not inside.

Duhamel is described as a 6’ tall white man who weighs about 165 pounds, and had brown hair and brown eyes with multiple tattoos, including ones on his face.

He should be considered armed, and if you see him, call 911. Duhamel is wanted for aggravated menacing, inducing panic and violation of a TPO.
