Visitation held Sunday for teen who died after becoming trapped in vehicle
MT. WASHINGTON, Ohio (WKRC) - There will be a visitation Sunday for a local teenager who was killed when he became trapped in his vehicle and couldn't get help after calling 911.
Family and friends will gather to remember Kyle Plush at the TP White & Sons Funeral Home on Beechmont Avenue in Mt. Washington from 2-5 p.m.
A funeral is set for Monday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church on Riverside Drive in the East End.
Plush was found dead from asphyxiation in his vehicle in the parking lot at Seven Hills School Tuesday night after becoming trapped.
Plush called 911 twice. After the first call, emergency responders couldn't find him. During his second call, he gave more precise information, which was not properly relayed.
Seven Hills Schools released a statement on Plush's passing Sunday:
The Seven Hills School community is mourning the loss of one of our students, who passed away on Tuesday in a tragic accident.
We are all grieving the loss of this beloved member of our school family—a young person of keen intelligence, good humor, great courage—and we feel this loss profoundly.
The school’s counseling staff, assisted by outside grief counselors, are providing ongoing support to our community, our students and their families, as well as our faculty and staff. There is an ongoing investigation, and we are working with authorities in any way we can. Accordingly, we cannot comment further.
We are all deeply grateful for the support our school family has received from the Greater Cincinnati community.
