2 killed in crash on I-75 in West Chester

WEST CHESTER, Ohio (WKRC) - Two people were killed in a crash on northbound I-75 in Wester Chester as crews dealt with icy roads. Ohio State Highway Patrol has identified them as Rodney Bartleson, 34, and Marvin Hunter, 43.

The two people were killed in a two-vehicle crash on I-75 near Union Center before 6 a.m., according to OSP. The northbound lanes were closed for hours and started to reopen about 8 a.m.

A crash on southbound I-75 also blocked some of the lanes.

At about 7:30 a.m., I-75/71 southbound was shut down near Burlington Pike after several cars spun out. Traffic was a mess in both directions.

Crews dealt with icy roads in several spots on I-71 and I-275 as well. At one time, a tractor-trailer was blocking I-71.
