Two arrested after 'substantial quantity' of suspected fentanyl seized in Clark County (File: WKEF/WRGT)

CLARK COUNTY, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - Two people are behind bars after a 'substantial quantity' of suspected fentanyl was seized during a raid in Clark County.

The Sheriff's Office Vice & Organized Crime Unit served a search warrant at a residence on Lincoln Park Circle around 9 a.m. Thursday in connection with an investigation into suspected drug activities at the residence.

Equan Anderson, 31, and Asia Renee Powell, 25, were both taken in to custody and taken to the Clark County Jail. In addition to the suspected fentanyl, drug trafficking equipment and materials were seized from the residence, and two minor children were also found to be living at the residence with direct contact with illegal drugs and drug trafficking activities.

Anderson and Powell are set to be arraigned on charges of trafficking in drugs, possession of drugs, permitting drug abuse and multiple felony counts of endangering children at 10:30 a.m. Friday.
