The Foodbank to help people in need in Greene County though mass distribution
GREENE COUNTY, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - The Foodbank plans to continue to their efforts to help people in need through a mass food distribution in Greene County.
Officials will be at the Nutter Center August 17 from 9 to 11 a.m. Anyone in need is welcome to come get fresh produce and other products at no cost to them.
CareSource is sponsoring the event, and crews will be there to help pass out the products.
“There are 21,720 individuals in Greene County alone who do not know where their next meal is coming from and we don’t want to see anyone go hungry in the Miami Valley," CEO of The Foodbank Michelle Riley said. "With support from CareSource, The Foodbank looks forward to serving those in need through this mass distribution.”
The distribution will be set up as a drive-thru.
