DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - Ten pounds of fentanyl were taken off the streets of the Miami Valley due to a Miami Valley Bulk Smuggling Task Force and R.A.N.G.E. Task Force bust.

Officials believe the fentanyl, which has an estimated street value of more than $500,000, was being transported from Mexico to Ohio using a commercial vehicle.

Cesar Linarea-Serrano, 34 of Aculco, Mexico, and David Price, 31 of Columbus, have been arrested on a charge of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute fentanyl.

The drugs were sent tot he Miami Valley Regional Crime Lab for testing, and it was determined to be almost 4,500 grams of fentanyl.
