Suspect wanted for multiple break-ins in Miamisburg arrested in Xenia
MIAMISBURG, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - A man who was wanted for two break-ins recently in Miamisburg has been identified and arrested.
Miamisburg Police had asked for the public's help to identify the suspect after they say he broke in to Roosters on Springboro Pike and then Chuck E. Cheese's on Saturday, August 4. The suspect has been identified as Phillip Campos, and he's now in custody in the Greene County Jail after he was arrested for a break-in at another business in Xenia.
Police say it's believed Campos only got away with some change from the Roosters break-in, while police say he took some electronic devices from Chuck E. Cheese's. Police also say it's believed Campos broke in to Gyro Place on Springboro Pike and possibly into McAlister's in Miami Township and the Starbucks and Thai Kitchen in the same area.
Campos is in custody at the Greene County Jail on breaking and entering charges. Police are thanking the public for their help in identifying Campos, "who would still be breaking into businesses if not for their help," said Miamisburg Police Sergeant Jeff Muncy.
