Police: No sign of kidnapping or abduction in case of missing Riverside woman

RIVERSIDE, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - Riverside Police are still asking the public for help as they continue the search for Cheryl Coker.

Coker, 46, was last seen dropping her daughter off at school on October 2. Coker's vehicle, a 2016 Toyota Highlander, was found abandoned in a parking lot near Burkhardt Road and Spinning Road the following evening. The vehicle was found locked and all of her personal belongings like her purse, driver's license, credit cards and cell phone were all inside.


In an update with police on Monday, authorities say more than 10 search warrants have been issued in the case. Investigators say there is no evidence of kidnapping or abduction in this case. Police have been in regular contact with Coker's family, they're asking anyone who may know where she is to call them at 233-2080 or to email Detective Travis Abney at tabney@riversideoh.gov.
