Parents charged after 6-year-old boy found wandering along busy Centerville street (Montgomery Co. Jail)

CENTERVILLE, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - A Centerville couple has been charged with child endangering after their 6-year-old son was found wandering along a busy city street over the weekend.

On Saturday, July 14, a woman called police after spotting the child walking along South Main Street near Skyline Chili, heading south toward Kroger. The woman told the dispatcher she tried to stop the boy, but he did not talk with her, "I don't feel comfortable leaving him by himself," the woman told the dispatcher.

According to police, the boy left his home the night before and was found in the Kroger parking lot. Officers talked with his parents and when he was found wandering again the following day, they were arrested. The boy's parents have been identified as Anthony A. Combs, 45 and Katrina L. Combs, 42.
