CHAMPAIGN COUNTY, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - The National Weather Service said a tornado did not touch down in Champaign County.

Pictures posted to social media and sent to FOX 45 News showed a funnel cloud in the county while a tornado warning was active in the area, but the NWS said they received no confirmation, either visually or through damage on the ground, that a tornado actually touched down.

Officials said they did get a call from law enforcement Tuesday night indicating that a tornado was on the ground, but no reports of damage have confirmed that. With no damage to survey, they do not plan or expect to conduct any surveys regarding the storms.
