Winter storm warnings have been canceled

    UPDATE: All winter weather storm warnings and weather advisories have been canceled.

    According to the National Weather Service of Wilmington, the Miami Valley will see no additional accumulation of snow although flurries will continue to fall.

    UPDATE: A winter storm warning has been issued for parts of the Miami Valley, while other parts are under a winter weather advisory Saturday . The winter storm warning has been issued for the following counties: Darke, Greene, Montgomery, Butler, Hamilton, Warren and Wayne.

    ABC 22/FOX 45 meteorologists are tracking the forecast, expecting four to six inches of snowfall to accumulate throughout Saturday.

    AAA warns drivers to make sure not to accelerate or break too quickly when driving in the snow.

    (WKEF/WRGT) - Winter weather is moving into the Miami Valley and has put much of the Miami Valley under a winter weather advisory.

    The southern portions of the area, including Butler, Clinton and Warren counties are under a Winter Storm Warning.

    ABC22/FOX45 meteorologists are forecasting for between four and six inches of snow to fall throughout the day Saturday and into the night.

    Snow is expected to start around sunrise and by noon, we should have between half an inch and an inch-and-a-half. From noon until around 9 p.m., an additional two inches is expected to fall, then overnight another inch or two is possible.

    Since the snow will fall over the course of 18-24 hours, it will be easy to clear away as it falls. However, the snow is expected to be heavy and wet.
