HARRISON TWP, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) _ Four people were arrests for unrelated charges at an OVI checkpoint in Harrison Township Wednesday night.
More than 500 cars passed through the checkpoint in the 4600 block of North Main Street. There was one probation violation warrant arrests and two marijuana arrests, while the saturation patrols resulted in one non-support warrant arrest. Citations were also issued for expired registration and driving under suspension, and saturation patrols issued some for non-moving and red lights. One person was also charged with obstructing official business.
Montgomery County Sheriff's deputies and officers from the Combined Agency OVI Task Force will be out doing saturation patrols throughout the holiday weekend, and asked that every drink responsibly and help keep the roadways safe.
