Fairborn man wanted for deadly shooting arrested with woman following chase, crash
DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - A Fairborn man wanted for the deadly shooting of a man in Dayton is in jail after leading police on a chase and crashing.
Sharonville Police made the arrest after they were contacted by Dayton Police about Joshua Beall. Dayton Police tell FOX45 Beall is the suspect in the deadly shooting of Donald E. Armstrong III, of Cincinnati. A man called 911 Wednesday night to report the shooting and told dispatchers, "he came in and shot, he shot him."
After Dayton Police alerted Sharonville Police to be on the lookout for Beall, officers found him near Lebanon Road. Police found Beall and Casey Cole, 19, of Seaman, Ohio and when they approached the vehicle, they drove away. Police chased the suspects who ended up crashing with the vehicle ending up on its top on Glendale-Milford Road at Wyscarver Drive.
Police say Beall and Cole were also wanted in a series of bank robberies in Oakwood, Beavercreek and Dayton. Oakwood Police confirmed to FOX45 that Cole was the suspect they were looking for in the Lebanon Citizen's National Bank robbery.
Huber Heights Police said the Montgomery County Prosecutor has approved charges of aggravated robbery, grand theft of a motor vehicle and weapons under disability against Beall, as the vehicle he was driving in the chase was taken in the city during an armed robbery on May 27.
