Dayton ranked 42nd hungriest in U.S.

    DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - Each night in the Miami Valley thousands go to bed hungry. Across the country, the city of Dayton is ranked as the 42nd hungriest in the nation.

    Tuesday night, December 4, ABC22/FOX45 is taking a deeper look into hunger in the Miami Valley, its causes and possible solutions.

    In a Town Hall meeting, we'll speak to a panel of experts including Ambassador Tony Hall, who's founded several hunger initiatives, the CEO of the Foodbank Dayton, Michelle Riley, Cathy Ponitz, the Vice President of CareSource, Nichole Adkins, the founder and exeutive director of With God's Grace, Montgomery County Commissioner Judge Dodge, Amaha Sellassie, President of the Gem City Market's board and Jill Conkel, administrator for Bridges of Hope shelter.
