MIAMISBURG, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - Warmer weather is in the forecast, but that didn't stop organizers at Austin Landing from putting on their annual Winterfest.

The weather was perfect for Austin Landing's third annual Winterfest, put on by Kettering Health Physicians Network.

The family friendly winter wonderland featured a giant polar bear bounchouse and tons of attractions for people to check out while they shop and enjoy festivities.

The festival brought in a large crowd.

Marketing Coordinator at Austin Landing Jordanne Varvel said they were hoping to see more than 500 people.

Some of the main attractions to be seen throughout the fest were the ice sculptures.

Varvel said there were three or four ice sculptors doing live carving during the event.

Sculpter Chad Hartson was in attendence for his third year to participate in the Ice Wars contest.

"People love seeing the ice sculptures, they love coming out," said Hartson.

Varvel said the crowd chooses the winner of the contest every year.

Hartson won last year's ice war.
