3 dogs removed during apparent drug bust in Dayton (WKEF/WRGT)

DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - Three dogs were removed from a Dayton home today and several arrests were made during an apparent drug bust on West Hudson Avenue.

Dayton Police were assisting a drug task force when the Animal Resource Center was called in to remove the animals.

FOX45 was the only local media at the scene and observed the dogs being carried out by ARC workers. The dogs appeared very skinny.

The Montgomery County R.A.N.G.E. Task Force confirmed they served two warrants on West Hudson Thursday, as part of a long-term drug trafficking investigation. Crack cocaine, fentanyl, cocaine, marijuana and money were seized from the residence.

39-year-old John Gipp III was arrested at the scene and booked into the Montgomery County Jail on drug charges, and 56-year-old Martin Fleming, 40-year-old Amber Allen, 27-year-old Laquita Kelly, 52-year-old Mark Williams and 50-year-old Terry Young were booked into the jail on outstanding warrants.
