After a springlike day near 70... Winter is settling back in. Snow showers become the norm into the afternoon, finally clearing by late afternoon and evening. Any precip falling in the afternoon could be horizontal at times with gusts up to 45mph in the afternoon. Snow accumulations will struggle at first due to the warmer ground but accumulating snow/sleet is expected with the heart of the Miami Valley getting about 1-2" and Areas along and north of U.S. 36 could see about 2-4"+.
This precipitation is brought to you by a cold front so Thursday will be the coldest day of the week with morning lows in the single digits and sub-0 wind chill values! Sunshine will at least be with us to end the work week and we see above average highs by Friday.
Light showers are possible Friday night and Saturday morning. Sunday & Monday will cool down into the mid & upper 30s. Tuesday clouds increase and we'll see the chance for showers later in the day but temps are back close to our normals.
