A WIND ADVISORY is in effect for the entire area from 7 AM until 10 PM Monday. The storm system bringing rain tonight and Monday will also bring in strong winds. Winds will be out of the southwest at 20-30 mph with gusts near 50 mph.
Tonight: Rain showers turn to heavy rain this evening, rain continues overnight.
Low: 52 Winds: S 10-15 mph
Monday: Scattered rain continues, very windy with falling afternoon temps.
High: 53 Winds: SW 20-30 mph G50 mph
Tuesday: Partly cloudy and colder.
High: 36 Winds: SW 10-20 mph
Rain has moved into the area and will continue through the evening and overnight. Expect heavy rain at times and possibly a bit of thunder. It will also be very windy as this system is rather strong.
Monday the winds pick up even more and the scattered rain continues. Temps will hover in the low 50's through the early part of the day, then slowly fall through the evening as cooler air moves in. Rain will move out Monday evening, then skies will clear overnight.
Tuesday and Wednesday will be cooler, but dry with highs in the mid and upper 30s. A quick moving system will bring just a bit of snow to the are Wednesday night and into Thanksgiving day. Not much accumulation is expected, but it could make for some slick roads. If you are traveling for Thanksgiving, please be careful!
