DAYTON -- Ranked as the #2 showcase event in the nation by CBS Sports/MaxPreps, the 12th annual Good Samaritan Hospital Flyin To the Hoop Invitational 2014 will occur over the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend, January 17-20, 2014, at Ketterings James S. A number of local teams have been invited including Beavercreek, Dayton Dunbar and Trotwood Madison among others.  It is anticipated that numerous recognized university and college coaches/recruiters will once again be in the stands. According to Eric Horstman, founder of the event, more than 350 players in the first ten years of the tournament went on to play NCAA Division I college basketball, including 23 players that went to the NBA.  Eighteen current NBA players have participated in the event including the last two #1 draft picksAnthony Davis (NO) and Anthony Bennett (CLEV). The caliber of talent at this event is amazing to witness.  Spectators will be watching future college and NBA stars.
