UPDATE: OSP Says High-Speed Chase Began in Auglaize; Suspects Found Near Cincinnati

SHARONVILLE -- The Ohio State Highway Patrol says that the high-speed chase down I-75 on Tuesday afternoon began in Auglaize County.

The pursuit began when troopers learned from the Livonia, Mich., Police Department that the suspects in a Lincoln MKZ were associated with suspected criminal activity.

OSP S/Lt. Anne Ralston says the suspects began driving at high rates of speed and were reckless and aggressively driving, so troopers decided to end that pursuit.

About 5:50 p.m. Tuesday, police in Sharonville and Springdale located the suspects and stopped the Lincoln on Chester Road in Sharonville. According to Ralston, three of the four suspects were taken into custody. A fourth, believed to be the driver, fled on foot and has not been located.

Courtney Coney, 29, of Plantation, Fla., Emily Freeman, 21, of Coral Springs, Fla., and Stanley Jacques, 25, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., are all held without bond at the Warren County Jail, jail officials said.

The suspects are believed to be part of a theft ring.

No one was injured during the chase.

Three Arrested After High-Speed, 400-Mile Chase; Fourth Sought

SHARONVILLE (AP) -- Authorities say a high-speed chase that began in Michigan ended north of Cincinnati when police set out devices to deflate the fleeing vehicle's tires and captured three of its four occupants.

Sharonville police say the vehicle reached speeds above 120 mph during the pursuit down Interstate 75 and onto Interstate 275 on Tuesday evening. A sheriff's helicopter team tracking the car spotted four people run away after it was disabled, and police tracked down three of the suspects.

According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, Courtney Coney, 29, of Plantation, Fla., Emily Freeman, 21, of Coral Springs, Fla., and Stanley Jacques, 25, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., are all held without bond at the Warren County Jail, jail officials said.

The driver remains at large.

The suspects are believed to be part of a theft ring.

No one was injured during the chase.

WLWT-TV reports several law enforcement agencies further north had tried to stop the speeding vehicle but called off those segments of the chase because of the speed and the suspects' reckless driving.
