Authorities Investigating Suspicious Death
HARRISON TWP. -- The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is investigating a suspicious death. Crews were called Saturday night to 2017 Kildare Ave. in Harrison Township. They say the woman who lived there was dead. The coroner has yet to determine a cause of death for 48-year-old Michelle Gregg.
"I've known them forever and it's really heartbreaking. Nobody should have to go through that. Nobody whatsoever," said neighbor Brenda Snediger.
According to those who knew Michelle, her boyfriend had been living with her for several weeks.
"The last time I saw her was yesterday at 3:30 and he shoved her in the door because they were drunk. And I saw the cops have guns drawn to him and throw him in a cop car and the ambulance people came out and said she was dead," Snediger said.
Snediger says the cops have been called to the home several times in the past two weeks. Right now, police aren't saying if anyone has been arrested in connection to Michelle's death, making the situation even more unsettling to the neighborhood.
"It's really disturbing. I live across the street and my kids, my grandkids, my elderly mother lives over here. And to have something like that happen. It's just very upsetting and now there's a 13 year old with no mother," Snediger added.
Sheriff's deputies haven't commented on the investigation. More information is expected to be released Monday.
