I was the girl who asked too many questions. Never quite satisfied with simply knowing what, I always had to know how and why and where. That curiosity is what eventually led me to pursue a career in broadcast journalism, and ultimately, to Dayton!
Born and raised in Long Island, New York, I haven't spent much time in the Midwest so tornadoes and Kroger are new to me.
I graduated magna cum laude from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York. While at Marist I was fortunate enough to intern with Madison Square Garden Networks, a dream come true for someone who loves sports as much as I do. (Go Rangers, Knicks and Jets!)
Most recently I interned in the investigative unit at WABC in New York City, which affirmed what I already knew: journalism truly is my passion. I found myself making phone calls on my days off and looking forward to Monday mornings. I promise I'm not crazy...I just loved my job!
In my spare time I enjoy reading, writing and exploring new places. I also regularly upload videos to a Youtube channel that I created my freshman year of high school. At first the channel's focus was on makeup and beauty, but eventually it became a way for me to speak about topics I feel more passionate about, such as confidence and the power of positivity. I also enjoy just sharing my life and taking viewers along for the ride. The channel currently has over 175,000 subscribers.
I've always considered myself a morning person, although a 2 a.m. wake-up call will definitely take some getting used to. Either way, I could not be happier to join the FOX45/ABC22 news team and look forward to being a part of the community that I've already grown to love!
