Raiders drop second straight game to #4 South Carolina

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WRGT) -- Newly minted, and nationally ranked, Wright State Baseball is ready to challenge the country, but back to back games against fourth ranked South Carolina has them reeling.

The Raiders dropped their second straight game to the Gamecocks by a score of ten to five. South Carolina took a three run lead in the first inning off of a bases loaded double from Jacob Olsen. The hot start set the tone for the game, as South Carolina badgered Wright State starter Zane Collins for four runs in five innings.

The Raiders get one last chance to steal a win from the Gamecocks.
