#2 Trotwood rolls to final four with decisive 83-54 win over #4 Dunbar


KETTERING -- 2nd ranked Trotwood left no doubt defeating #4 Dunbar 83-54 in the Division II regional final.

The Rams jumped out to a 24-6 lead in the first quarter and never looked back.

Amir Foster, a Trotwood senior, was 2 points shy of his career high scoring a game-high 22 points in the win.

Fellow senior Torrey Patton scored 19 points while junior Myles Belyeu added 16 and sophomore Amari Davis rounded out the Rams in double figures with 11.

This is the second time Trotwood and Dunbar have played this season. The Rams dominated both meetings winning 98-89 in the first game. Trotwood led by more than 20 for long stretches of the first contest between the two teams.

Trotwood will play Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary Thursday at 2pm at Value City Arena in Columbus.

It will be the second time these two teams have played this season, the Rams won 100-61 back in January.
