Wayne trio Smith, Reigelsperger, Johnson sign with Ohio State, Minnesota, BG

HUBER HEIGHTS -- Wayne had a trio of football players sign to play Division I college football.

Wide Receiver L'Christian "Blue" Smith signed with Ohio State.

Smith racked up 3,128 receiving yards in his career at Wayne to go with 37 touchdown catches. He also set an Ohio High School Athletic Association record with a catch in 45 consecutive games. His 3,128 yards are ranked 16th all-time and his 37 touchdown receptions rank 14th all-time in OHSAA history.

Defensive lineman Alex Reigelsperger signed with Minnesota.

Reigelsperger recorded 141 tackles and 25 sacks in his three year career at Wayne.

Linebacker Antwuan Johnson signed with Bowling Green.

Johnson was limited by injuries his senior year but recorded 31 tackles, 1 sack, forced a fumble and intercepted a pass for the Warriors. Prior to Wayne Johnson played at Dunbar and Springfield in high school.
