Dayton to play Ohio Dominican in exhibition
DAYTON – The first opportunity for Flyer fans to see the 2017-18 University of Dayton men’s basketball team in competition will be on Saturday, Nov. 4, when Dayton will host Ohio Dominican in an exhibition game. Tip-off will be at 7 p.m. ET.
Ohio Dominican is an NCAA Division II school that is in its first year competing in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference. The Panthers were 14-12 last season.
UD announced its non-conference schedule on July 24. The Flyers will open the season at home on Friday, Nov. 10.
The remainder of the Dayton men’s basketball schedule (Atlantic 10 matchups, game times and television) will be announced at a later date.
Dayton was 24-8 overall, and Atlantic 10 Conference regular season champions with a 15-3 league record last season. The Flyers reached the NCAA tournament for the fourth consecutive year and set a UD Arena attendance record, averaging 13,108 fans per game.
