#2 Beavercreek boys beat Centerville 3-1, remain unbeaten, win GWOC championship

CENTERVILLE -- Senior Dominic Calabrese played the role of hero for Beavercreek (12-0-2) who remains undefeated with a 3-1 win at Centerville (10-3-3) Tuesday night.

Calabrese scored six minutes into the match then made it 2-0 with 20:57 remaining in the game, his sixth goal of the season and notches his second multi-goal game of the year.

Joshua Fleck put the game out of reach with a rocket from 30 yards out with his left foot. The senior put 2nd ranked Beavercreek up 3-0 with 15:11 remaining.

Cole Zengel scored his sixth goal of the season for the Elks but it was too little too late for Centerville at that point.

Beavercreek wins its 7th straight Greater Western Ohio Conference championship, three of those titles were shared.
