Question of the Day
Do you think the U.S. should be arming the rebels in Syria?
Comment: We should stay out of their affaires. Let them destroy themselves. We should provide humanitarian support and nothing else. No money and no weapons. from CO by David
Comment: I consider myself a pacifist, but I do believe the use of chemical, biological, or nuclear weapons is so abhorrent that we must do what we can to prevent it. from Dayton by David
Comment: How do we as a nation stop Obama? We have plenty of people on board to stop him now. What's the next step that won't take the next 3 years???? from Dayton by Susan
Comment: Absolutely not. Its time for the United States to worry about our own people instead of nation building in countries where the people hate us. All that happens in these cases such as Libya and Egypt is a bad dictator is overthrown and someone much worse takes power. Its not worth it! from Dayton by David
Comment: We just can't seem to learn that if we arm them today, we'll be fighting them tomorrow. from Eaton, OH by John
Comment: No matter who we arm they will be our enemy someday. John McCain never saw a war he didn't like. Get out of the mideast, bring our troops home and guard our borders, sea and air ports, train and bus stations. The arabs, egyptians, muslims and the rest have been killing each other for 6,000 years why stop them now? from sunny downtown Fairborn by the ol' Man
Comment: Aren't these the same rebels that pledge loyalty to Al Qaeda? The situation in Syria is one "O" administration could have effectively done something about last year and failed to do so and now Syria has been literally burning. Nearly 100,000 people have died in Syria and yet there remains no clear strategy to assist. This frustrates me to no end because it just sounds like the only plan is to arm rebels in an effort to overthrow Assad yet these are the same rebels that pledged loyalty to Al Qaeda. This sounds like our efforts to toss Mubarak and arm the Muslim Brotherhood. Haven't we learned from our mistakes? What is a going to take to get this guy out of the White House ?? from Bellbrook, OH by Bob
