Question of the Day
Do you think airlines should charge passengers according to their weight?
Comment: Just like shipping any freght, you pay for weight or volume, the plane can only handle so much! from Celina by Doug
Comment: This could be deemed as discrimination from Springfield OH by Juanita
Comment: only if they take up two seats from Dayton, OH by Stacy
Comment: so would there be a limit to how many over weight people could ride on one plane and how many fat peoplewould it take to bring a plane out of the air from dayton ohio by James
Comment: One of the dumbest ideas I have heard in a long time from Brookville by Paul
Comment: If I'm going to get charged $50 for my suitcase to be 2 pounds overweight then yes we should be weighing ourselves and our tickets should be based on that. from Huber Heights
Comment: Since it takes more energy to move a heavy object than it does a lighter object, I think there is some merit in this approach. Conversely, persons lighter than "average" should pay less by an equal amount. I think people and their luggage should be weighed and charged accordingly before being ticketed. That way everyone is fairly charged. Who knows, it may even prompt some people to lose some weight. from New Carlisle, Oh by Al
Comment: not so much by weight but by the fact they might take up part of another seat from miamisburg ohio by james
Comment: if you take up 2 seats you should have to pay for them these people choose to be unhealthy so make them pay for it! from miamisburg by MM
Comment: I Dont Fly from springfild by jor
Comment: What about all those people that drag everything they own onto the plane as "carryon" baggage? from Dayton OH by Margaret
Comment: thats rediculous, they charge enough as it is. they'd loose alot of customers. just nother business tryin to get more money under false pretensis from eaton by shari
