Mitt Romney Campaigns in Sidney

SIDNEY --  Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney was back in the
Miami Valley Wednesday. Thousands of supporters gathered for a rally at
the Shelby County Fairgrounds in Sidney.

The former Governor
focused his plan to get America back to work.  Some main points were
becoming more energy secure, bringing back manufacturing jobs to Ohio,
and exporting more agricultural goods, which was a huge sticking point
in the Shelby County farming community.

"He's the right  person for the next President," said Marelin Mayo of Greenville.

"I'm
not happy with the way the government is going and I'm just hoping that
Mitt is the one who will take us in the right direction," agreed Renee
Geier of Sidney.

Job creation, healthcare reform and balancing
the budget have been at the center of both campaigns, along with each
candidate regularly taking jabs at the other.  Wednesday's rally for
Romney was no different.

"There's a high cost to re-electing
President Obama.  If we re-elect him, we'd see chronic unemployment
continue.  We'd see high gasoline prices continue.  We'd see incomes
continue to go down," Romney said.

All those points were not lost on most of his audience.  However, his words neglected to impress a few swing voters.

"I'm
still on the fence.  The Governor has gone a long way to rebuild
himself, but there is still a long way to go," said Jeff Vantilburgh, a
Republican and self-proclaimed swing voter.

Less than a month for
voters to decide who the right man is for America's top job.  Romney of
course hoping rallies like the one in Sidney will swing notorious
undecided Ohio in his direction.

"We're taking back America!
we're going to make sure she remains the hope if the earth!  Thank you,
thank you so much!". Romney cheered at the end of his speech.

Romney also said he would champion small business and  not raise taxes, if elected President.
