President Spoke to Thousands, Message Targeted Middle Class Workers

CINCINNATI -- Before a crowd of thousands in Cincinnati's Eden park, President Obama's message was directed at the middle class. The crowd was energized and left inspired.

It was an uproar as President Barack Obama took the stage, and Ohioans came by the thousands. His first message: Go vote. His second message: Let's grow the economy.

"New manufacturing jobs here in Ohio, to create a new energy strategy for America building on what we've already done. To improve education and bring down our deficit, to turn the page on a decade of war. That's what we can do in the next four years, Cincinnati," said Mr. Obama.

He vowed for more tax breaks for new companies and middle class workers.

"Middle class families, you're paying about $3,600 less in federal taxes since I've been president. I cut taxes for the middle class like I promised."

The crowd went wild when the president talked about the auto bailout helping Ohio, and his promise to cut the national debt by four trillion dollars. Then, he addressed his opponent, Mitt Romney.

"They want your vote, but they don't want to tell you their plan. It's because it's the same plan they've had for decades.

As the crowd of supporters vehemently chanted "four more years," it is clear they are ready to vote.

"He's got the experience," said Obama supporter Robert Smith. "He's got the judgment. He's got a cool head under difficult circumstances and that's something we don't see in Romney."

"He had a rough job to do - he's done a great job so far," said Mickey Mulvaey, a self-described middle class woman who's concerned about tax cuts. "I think we need four more years to let him finish up."

Each time the crowd booed about Romney's campaign, Obama said, "Don't boo, vote."

This is the campaign's fourth trip to Ohio just his month. Of course we can expect many more trips with 50 days still to go until the election.President Spoke to Thousands, Message Targeted Middle Class Workers
