Judge Lets Man Have it

DAYTON -- The juror who interrupted an earlier hearing for Mollie Parsons received his punishment Thursday. Nicholas Hudson appeared before Judge Huffman Thursday morning in court.

He apologized to the deceased and the deceased's family. Following Hudson's apology, Judge Huffman had some strong words for him.

Hudson received a jail sentence of 10 days which will be served over five weekends.

"I have never seen such outrageous behavior and I have seen thousands of
jurors in the last 10 years, all of whom experienced the same stress
and anxiety," said Mont. Co. Court of Common Pleas Judge Mary Huffman.

He will also have to pay more than $1,300 in court fees.
