SHAMROCK ‘13 READY TO ROCK THE BOONSHOFT
Museum’s Teen Advisory Group to host eighth annual party

(Dayton, OH) On Saturday, March 16 from 7:30-11:00 p.m., teens from across the Miami Valley will flock to the Boonshoft Museum in search of good times and great music, as they dance and rock to local bands, test their reflexes at laser tag and .

Live music at ShamROCK ’13 features The Broken Lights, a local band from Tipp City. The evening will also include entertainment from DJ Eric of DaytonRocks.com, as well as a full-scale dance floor on the second floor of the Museum. Attendees will take a ride through the Solar System at SpacePark360 in The Dome, and Win-It-In-A-Minute games with fabulous prizes, and get into gross art and science with “Maggot Man” – more commonly known as Dr. Eric Benbow of the University of Dayton Biology Department.

Teens will also have the chance to get a free airbrush tattoo, check their balance at an inflatable Twister game, and get up close and personal with some Extreme Animals. Foosball, air hockey, and laser tag will add to the fun, and there are plenty of activities to keep kids safe, busy and happy for hours.

Admission to ShamROCK ‘13 is $10 per person in advance; $12 per person day of. Admission includes all activities.

Snacks will be available at an additional cost of $1.00-$3.00 per item, including: pizza, walking tacos, cookies, and sodas. Limited edition t-shirts will also be available for purchase.

The event takes place from 7:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m. inside the Boonshoft Museum, located at 2600 DeWeese Parkway, Dayton 45414. Tickets will be available at the door, but can be purchased in advance at the Museum’s admission desk or online at BoonshoftMuseum.org.
