Waynesville celebrates Celtic culture at their annual festival
WAYNESVILLE, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) – Celtic culture took over Waynesville June 18 as crowds gathered for the second annual Celtic Fest.
People were celebrating everything about the culture, which includes the Irish, Scottish and the Welsh.
It was the second event the Celtic Fest of Ohio has put together in Waynesville.
“On the five stages that we have, you will hear the best blend of Celtic music anywhere around,” Marketing Director Cheryl Bucholtz said.
“As more people are finding out about us,” she added, “out attendance has grown. We’re very excited.”
The festival ran through the weekend. If you didn’t get a chance to make it out, the Celtic Fest of Dayton is July 28 – 30 at Riverscape.
