Shooting victim shows up at Good Samaritan Hospital
DAYTON -- A man is in the hospital after being shot on the west side of the city overnight.
Around 2:45 a white Chevy Malibu arrived at Good Samaritan Hospital with a gunshot victim. We saw police speaking with possible witnesses who were with the victim at the hospital.
Police have confirmed the shooting happened near the intersection of Philadelphia and Cornell, saying the victim was in his car when it happened. They taped off the intersection overnight to conduct the investigation, and we saw them find and remove as many as eight bullet casings from the area.
The victim was transferred to Miami Valley Hospital for treatment. Police say he is in stable condition. We believe no arrests have been made at this time.
