DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) – Do you find yourself running out of time in a week to head to the grocery store?

Dayton residents now have an option to get their groceries delivered right to their front door in as little as an hour.

Instacart launched the delivery service in our area May 11, and has partnered with popular local stores including Meijer, Kroger, Whole Foods Market, Petco and Costco.

“Instead of spending two hours at the grocery store,” Ohio Operations Manager for Instacart Kevin Duff said, “we send one of our highly trained personal shoppers in, connect you with them and then they will pick up everything that you need so you can eat healthy meals at home.”

The program helped to create more than 100 new jobs in the area.
