Funeral services announced for mom and son killed after vehicle crashes into Dayton home
DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - A funeral service will be held this Saturday for a Dayton mother and her son, killed when a car drove into their home.
Maria Davis, 39, and Jerome Davis, 7, were killed when the car came slamming into their home on Lilac Avenue. The mother and her son were sitting on the couch, Davis' other son, 13-year-old Aaron Davis was the lone survivor.
Services will be held on Saturday, December 9, at 11:00 a.m. at Revival Center Ministries on Oakridge Drive in Dayton.
One man has been arrested in connection with the crash. Kesean Parks, 24, was arrested after police say he tried to run from the scene. Parks now faces charges of Concealed Carry Weapons and Aggravated Possession of Drugs. According to police, the vehicle that crashed into the home was driving at a high rate of speed through the neighborhood. Officers saw it but before going after the vehicle, the driver crashed into the Davis home. Police say there was no chase before the crash.
