Eight indicted for felony drug trafficking following undercover DPD investigation
DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - Eight people have been indicted on drug charges following an undercover investigation.
Dayton Police say its Narcotics Bureau conducted the operation with help from the Central Patrol Operations Division Community Problem Response Team. The undercover work was done over the course of four months, from July to October of 2017. Police say the investigation was in response to a citizen or business owner complaint about drug activity.
Police announced Monday morning that eight people have been indicted for felony drug trafficking: Steven Arnold, Mayfield Evans, Deren Craft, Raymon Dixon, John Myrick, Christopher Ross, Deontay Williams and Nicholos Woodson. The eight indictments were handed down after detectives made hand-to-hand purchases of drugs.
Right now, police say Deontay Williams and Deren Craft have active warrants for their arrest. If you know their whereabouts, you're asked to call 333-COPS, you can remain anonymous. You can also call 222-STOP.
