Detectives looking for Taco Bell robbers
WALL OF JUSTICE: The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office needs your help finding two men who robbed the Taco Bell in Washington Township.
Montgomery County Sheriff’s Detective Eric Dingee said both subjects were wearing hoodies and face masks. Both are armed and considered dangerous.
"The taller suspect was armed with an assault rifle and the shorter suspect was armed with a semi-automatic handgun," Dingee said.
The armed thieves robbed the Taco Bell on Far Hills Avenue in Washington Township twice in two months.
"The first time they hit it at 10 o'clock at night. The second time they hit it at 10 o'clock in the morning in broad daylight," Dingee said.
Detectives say the suspects walked into the restaurant ready to go.
“They enter the store very aggressively. They're quick. They're armed. They point the weapons at the victims," Dingee said.
They also have knowledge of the inside of the store.
"After they commit the robbery they have the victims get in the freezer. And tell them to wait there and they exit the store," Dingee said.
Detectives are hoping you'll recognize their clothing or the way they walk.
"They've committed two aggravated robberies. They're armed and apparently dangerous," Dingee said.
If you recognize the men in the surveillance video, you're asked to call Crime Stoppers at 222-STOP (937-222-7867).
