BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - A cow was safely returned home after it took 5 hours to track her down in Beavercreek June 17.

FOX 45 spoke with the cow's owners, who said they were able to corral her into someone's fenced yard, rope her and get her into a trailer around 1 a.m.

Witnesses said the cow was spotted in the neighborhood as early as 8:30 p.m. that night.

She had reportedly escaped an electrified fence earlier in the evening, and had been on the run ever since.

Another cow had been brought in to try and lure the 15-month-old to safety.
