DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) - A new development in downtown Dayton is sure to be a home run.
The Centerfield Flants will be build right behind Fifth-Third Field, with some of them overlooking the ballpark.
Officials told FOX 45's Nathan Edwards the demolition of the old Dayton Supply & Tool building on East FIrst Street is expected for early June, and they're looking to start building soon after.
The 120,000 square-foot building is intended to have 112 units plus a first floor restaurant space, and should be completed late in the summer of next year.
The Developer, Woodard Development, is the same company who built the Water Street apartments along the river, and worked on the Delco Lofts.
